Six pages about the tab the app opens on. By the end of them you will be able to find a route and draw one pattern of it, read a stop's departures, tell a late bus from a bus nobody has heard from, follow one vehicle across the screen, change the background map, and keep a view you use every shift.

The one thing to read first
A grey bus dot means no prediction, not "on time". It is the single most misread thing on this screen, it is a different fact from every other colour on the scale, and a whole network of grey dots means the prediction feed has stopped rather than that the fleet is running perfectly. The page that explains it is Live buses and what the colours mean, and it is worth reading before your first busy morning rather than during one.
What the map draws, and what it will not
Everything the app knows how to draw is optional except the routes and the stops. The live buses need a live feed; each overlay needs its own source; the run and shift links beside a bus need a driver roster and an account allowed to see it. Where a deployment does not have one of those, the control for it is not on screen at all — see Turning overlays on and off, which is the general rule and not only an overlay rule.
Nothing you click on this map changes anything on the road.
